Fans of the acclaimed series The Apothecary Diaries received exciting news with the announcement of a two

  • cour third season and a completely original anime film. The popular historical mystery series will return to television in October 2026, with the season continuing through April 2027.

    Adding to the momentum, an anime film featuring a brand

  • new story penned by the original author, Natsu Hyuuga, is scheduled for release in December 2026. This announcement was highlighted on the cover of the upcoming Sunday GX issue 1/2026, which also features the GX version of the manga.


    • The World of Kusuriya no Hitorigoto


    The franchise, known in Japanese as Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, is based on the light novel series by Natsu Hyuuga with illustrations by Shino Touko. The story centers on Maomao, a sharp

  • witted and inquisitive apothecary girl who, after being forced to work in the imperial court, teams up with the influential eunuch Jinshi to solve intricate mysteries plaguing the palace.
