Studio East Fish to Bring "The Prince" to Life


The beloved shojo manga In the Clear Moonlit Dusk (Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki) is officially receiving a television anime adaptation. The series, created by acclaimed manga artist Mika Yamamori, is scheduled to premiere on January 11, 2026. The animation production will be handled by Studio East Fish.

The anime will tell the story of a high school girl who is nicknamed "The Prince" due to her strikingly handsome, boyish appearance. Her life begins to change when she encounters a male student who sees beyond her princely facade. This encounter challenges her perception of herself and sparks a new dynamic in her daily life.

Author Mika Yamamori is best known for her previous hit series, Daytime Shooting Star, which also received a successful anime adaptation.
