The popular romantic comedy manga, A Couple of Cuckoos, has officially released its 31st volume. Created by manga artist Miki Yoshikawa, the series tells the unconventional love story of two high school students whose lives are turned upside down by a shocking discovery.
An Unconventional Family Arrangement
The core premise of Kakkou no Iinazuke begins when a high school student learns he was switched at birth with another teenager, a bold and outspoken girl. The situation becomes even more complicated when the girl proposes a plan for them to become fake boyfriend and girlfriend to avoid arranged marriages with other people.
Their parents, however, take the idea a step further. Instead of a simple fake relationship, the families push the two teenagers to actually marry each other and begin living together under one roof.
